Tokyo --:--
A Tokyo project around records, wine, food and friends. For now, at bars we love.
Opening 2027 in Tokyo
Until we open in 2027, we meet bars, DJs and wine makers around Tokyo for SOLA Sessions, one number at a time.
Dates, stories and recaps of every session: @sola.tokyo
We named SOLA after sora, the Japanese word for sky. The O in our name is the sun, and it moves with the hours.
In Japanese, sora means open space as much as sky. We want SOLA to feel that way: room to breathe in the middle of Tokyo.
In 2027, in Tokyo:
Mornings of specialty coffee, homemade cakes and tartines, then a simple lunch.
On the turntableSoft jazz and ambient, at conversation volume.
When the light turns orange: natural wines from small growers, Japanese craft beer and something to share.
In France, people call the drink between work and dinner the apéro.
On the turntableWe pick up the tempo as the sun goes down.
In the evening, seasonal plates to share and wines picked to go with them.
On the turntableJapanese jazz from the seventies on a good sound system, at conversation volume.
